Dante Alighieri Society was born in Rome in 1889 thanks to a group thanks to a group of intellectual guided by Giosuè Carducci.
Its primary scope is to protect and to spread the Italian language and culture in the world between foreigners interested to Italian civilization and Italians who wish to maintain the cultural links with Italy.
Society Dante Alighieri - Committee of Palermo presents courses of Italian language, but also cultural manifestations of various kind destined to the thousand of partners and students in love with our Italy.
They want to know all about Italy, from the sport in the cinema, from the theater to the fashion, until the literature.
The most important aim is to diffuse the knowledge of the Italian language and culture thanks to the support of qualified teachers. Through the Committees situated in foreign countries, Dante Alighieri society institutes and finances schools, libraries, circles and course of Italian language and culture, it spreads books and publications, it promotes lectures, cultural excursions and artistic and musical manifestations.
